What drives someone to refuse to accept loss? Marcos, a poet devastated by bereavement, lives among hallucinations; his only companion is Julieta, his wife, who died a year ago. The hospital proposes a course of treatment and Mariana, a former inpatient, encourages him to take it. When the treatment begins to work, Marcos stops hearing Julieta. Soon, he believes he receives signs from her that lead him to an unpublished manuscript his brother Pablo, an editor, insists upon releasing.
